Sessions and Payment

We are open from 7.45am until 5:30. We operate in a flexible way to meet your needs.

Sessions include

Breakfast                        7.45am- 9am            £3.75           
Morning session 9am -11.30am £10.50
Lunch time 11.30-12.30am £4.20
Afternoon 12.30-3pm £10.50
After school care 3pm- 5.30pm £6.25

Children can attend any combination of these sessions to meet your needs but we do recommend two sessions per week to ensure that children benefit from our provision.

Early Years Single Funding Formula

The Early Years Single Funding Formula entitles every 3 year old (the term after their 3rd birthday) to 15 hours free nursery education a week.

The Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) has set out a national framework to clarify how this works:

  • No session longer than 10 hours
  • No Session shorter than 2.5 hrs
  • The full 15 hours over no fewer than 3 days
  • No more than 12.5 hrs in 2 days or no more than 10 hrs in 1 day
  • Not before 8am or after 6pm
  • A maximum of 2 providers

Any hours over and above the free 15 hours a week are charged at an hourly rate of £4.20 an hour.

Here are some examples of how the funding works:

  • A child attends three mornings 9 – 12.30 = 10.5 hrs (10.5 hrs free)
  • A child attends one full day 9.00 – 3.0  = 6 hrs (6 hrs free)
  • A child attends five mornings  9.00 – 12.30 = 127.5 hrs (12.5 hrs free, charged for 2.5 hrs @ £4.20 = £10.50 a week)
  • A child attends three full days 9.00 – 3.00 = 18 hrs (15 hrs free, charged for 3 lunch  hrs (as sessions cannot be split) @ £4.20 = £12.60 a week)
  • A child attends two full days 9.00 – 5.30 = 17 hrs (9-3 is free,  charged for  after school club at£ 6.25 per day £12.50 per week)

NB session CAN NOT be split in order to use 15 hours.

Payment 
Invoices will be sent out prior to the beginning of the month and prompt payment would be appreciated approximately in the middle of the month. Unfortunately we have to ask for full payment even if your child is absent, as our bills still have to be met.

We also accept other vouchers according to which company you use. i.e.computershare child care vouchers etc.
